DetailsOn 28 April 2017, the Cardinal Prefect of the Congregation for the Causes of Saints has signed the decree which ‘affirms’ the Cause documents of the Servant of God Peter Joseph Triest, i.e. they have been approved for further content review. All 22,000 pages of the dossier were checked and found to be in compliance with the requirements of the statutory provisions for a beatification process. This is an important step forward for the Cause!
